KENGEN’S GOOD TO GREAT TRANSFORMATION

The G2G transformation is the new identity of the Post IPO Transformation and it reflects on two themes,

1.Moving KenGen from a “Good Company” to a “Great Company” that creates value for all employees, shareholders, customers and citizens.
2.Achieving sustainability in value creation from generation to generation to the next generation.

The Transformation was necessitated by: -

1.Growing performance pressure.
2.Significant demand in growth of electricity.
3.Changes in the regulatory environment.
4.Regionalisation of the sector.

The Good to Great transformation’s main focus was on the:-

1.Overall strategic direction.
2.Capital strategy and execution.
3.Operational performance.
4.Organizational health.
