The 280 megawatts plant is the single largest geothermal plant in the world from a single site. The plant comprises two units- the 140-megawatt Olkaria IV units 1 & 2, 140-megawatt Olkaria I additional units 4 & 5. The two plants were commissioned in October 2014 and in February 2015 respectively.
